Solarveil is a patented mesh sun protection fabric.

 A single layer of Solarveil blocks 70%-80% of UVA and UVB rays which makes this sling perfect for outdoor activities with baby.

A double layer blocks up to 95%. You can do this by flipping the tail back up over baby.It retains its protective qualities even when wet so is great for use in the water. It also dries in minutes.

Please note, the sling is suitable for use whilst wading or in the shower but should not be used whilst swimming.

Has an open knit making it very breathable and comfortable for hot days.

Also can be opened up to create a sun blocking cover whilst still allowing for air flow for baby's pram!

FAQ

Does the color affect how much protection I will get?

All Solarveil colors provide effective protection with the darker colors providing slightly more.

Are the lighter colors cooler to wear than the darker colors?

With traditional fabrics, lighter colors are cooler to wear, but with Solarveil, the fabric is so breathable that it prevents heat build up under the fabric. Therefore, the lighter and darker colors are very similar in providing cool comfort.

Will Solarveil colors fade?

No. Solarveil is colorfast, even in chlorinated water or salt water and after multiple washings and multiple exposures to the sun. The colors stay remarkably true for the life of the garment.

Will the sun protection wash out of the garment during laundering?

No. The sun protection properties and UV inhibitors are tested for over 1000 washings and Solarveil does not lose its sun protective properties.
